An introduction to Fashion PR course:
A recent survey in Company magazine showed fashion PR is one of the top five most desirable jobs today.
The Introduction to Fashion PR course led by Gossip PR, in Brighton, will teach you exactly what's involved in fashion PR.
Run by industry professionals, the course will involve hands-on practical activities and will cover the following topics:
- The ugly and the glamour of PR
- The difference between PR and advertising
- The fashion calendar and publication lead times
- Research and predicting trends
- Press releases, how to write them and when to send them
- Look books, what they include and what they are used for
- PR events, looking at the importance of events from press days to London Fashion Week
- Celebrities, how celebrities are used in PR and why
- Learning what products are suitable for which publications
- Managing press and client relationships
Each workshop runs from 7.30pm - 9.30pm on the following dates in Brighton:
- March 8th 2012
- March 15th 2012
- March 22nd 2012
- March 29th 2012
Admission to all four workshops costs a total of £150 per person.
